BlackBerry Storm pricing revealed

Vodafone has finally revealed the pricing and availability for the BlackBerry Storm 9500 as the device goes live for pre-order.

RIM’s first touchscreen device, the new smartphone, that’s said to have been purpose-built for Vodafone, will be delivered to those pre-ordering via the Voda site on 11 November.
An 18-month term will also net the Storm for free, you’ll just need to get onto a £40 plan with 600 minute and unlimited texting. The priciest option is on a £40 plan, 1-year contract – that’ll set you back £300 for the device, too. To give a frame of reference, the most you’ll pay for a Bold in the UK through Vodafone right now is £187.23.

TIM Italy release, this time they received the LG Tribe messenger phone. This phone is very stylish with fantastic colors and a beautifully laid out full QWERTY keyboard. Threaded messaging makes this phone perfect for those who message a lot.

This Lg has a 2.4-inch screen with multiple buttons on the face that require less need to slide out the keyboard for basic functions. The camera however is just your basic 2 megapixel phone camera, noting to big. This phone is geared towards “generation Web 2.0”.

For 149 Euros you will get the LG Tribe with a Windows Live Messenger service that is free for two months, after which will be 3 to 6 Euros a month for continued access. People who love to send text messages, send email and instant message from their phone a lot will love to get their hands on this beast.

Gmail Adding SMS Chat Capability

According to Webmonkey, Google has created an experimental feature to enable sms chat between your friends’ mobile number and you. The feature will be available for all Gmail users from Thursday evening according to the source. It can be activated through the Labs tab in Gmail settings section.

The service allows issuers to implement PayPass on mobile programs in a reduced timeframe with minimal development and implementation effort.

According to the dialaphone blog Nokia N85 launching in the UK, tomorrow the 31th.The N85 is a dual-slider mobile phone, just the like the N95,it`s a Symbian S60 smartphone with 2.6” OLED display, 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens and N-Gage gaming platform. For music it has 3.5mm jack, stereo speakers, stereo Bluetooth, FM transmitter and radio. The N85 has a MicroSD card slot ready for a card up to 8GB in size, thus instead of a fixed amount with no opportunity to increase or swap, here you can have several cards with different files always on hand.
