The nav edition also ships with the Nokia car kit and voice prompts for Ovi Maps. The car kit included with the phone features a car charger, car holder, rotating swivel adapter, and an easy mount. The GPS features traffic update, weather forecasts, and 3D landmarks. The handset will hit in Q3 at about $405 in Europe, no word on a U.S. version at this time.

Nokia 5230 will be full touch with 3G

Nokia announced their next touch screen venture in the XpressMusic line up. This time it’s called the 5230. It will have the benefits of 3G as well as GPS navigation. As far as the looks and size is concerned, we can see a lot of the 5800’s design in it. However, it lacks the 3.2 megapixel camera (2 MP in this case) and Wi-fi support. Both of these may bring down the price of the phone considerably. It does include support for 3G, FM, a 3.5mm jack, microSD slot and a luscious 3.2 inch touchscreen. In spite of the camera offering just 2MP images, it still offers video at 30 fps.
