Mozilla Firefox for Maemo has been finally launched.Presented by Mozilla as “the most modern mobile Web browser available”, Firefox for Maemo 5 brings most of the features that you can enjoy when using Firefox for desktop.

These features include: weave-sync, add-ons (more than 40 available at the moment), Awesome Bar, location-aware browsing, safe browsing, desktop synchronization, and support for more than 30 languages.

The Canadian manufacturer of luxurious mobile phones has now announced a new device Mobiado Classic 712ZAF.The classic 712ZAF is a candybar phone and is composed of stainless steel and ceramic coating. The part that adds the luxury quotient to the phone is the Sapphire crystals on the phone’s exterior. The classic 712ZAF is equipped with quad band GSM/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900) and tri-band WCDMA (900/1900/2100) connectivity, A-GPS, 2.2 inch QVGA display.

The Mobiado Classic 712ZAF will be released in six colors, Black, Black Satin, Silver, Grey, Blue and Red. However, there is no mention of price as yet.

Here is a new touchscreen phone that will be launched by Vodafone,the Vodafone 547.The phone features an accelerometer and Mobile TV, and it’s presented as being “ideal for enjoying multimedia entertainment”.

The Vodafone 547’s touchscreen display probably has a 400 x 240 pixels resolution. Other features were not unveiled.

The Nokia X6 16GB has been officially announced, and the truth is that it has four color versions: all black (pictured below), all white, white with yellow highlights, and white with pink highlights.The phone also feature a 3.2 inch touchscreen display with 360 x 640 pixels, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, Ovi Maps with free navigation, TV out, 5MP autofocus camera, and preloaded games (Spore, Asphalt4 and DJ Mix Tour).

Garmin-Asus Nuvifone M10 gets official

The M10 has just been confirmed.The device is a part of Nuvifone series and will be launched in Taiwan in February, featuring Windows Mobile 6.5.3 Maldives (we’ve also heard that Windows Mobile Maldives is a codename for Windows Mobile 6.6, but it looks like this isn’t true).

The specs of M10 include:

  • 3.5 inch WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) touchscreen display
  • Garmin GPS software
  • Wi-Fi
  • 5MP camera
  • 600MHz processor
  • 512MB RAM, 512MB ROM
  • 4GB of internal memory
  • MicroSD card support (up to 32GB)

Garmin-Asus says that the M10 will retail for 13,900 Taiwanese dollars – about $435.
