
Carphone Warehouse, has listed the BlackBerry 8900 Curve on its website and has announced that it is slated to arrive in December for the holidays.The choice of carrier and pricing haven’t been named but will see Carphone as the exclusive third-party to carry the device, which resembles a smaller, 2G-only version of the BlackBerry Bold. The 480×320 display, GPS and Wi-Fi of the more expensive phone carry over with EDGE handling cellular Internet access. US release information is still unavailable, though a growing number of reports put an American Curve 8900 on track for early 2009. The phone has already been spotted in AT&T trim and is likely to ship for both T-Mobile USA and Canada’s Rogers.


Nokia E71 is already available in the US, via the Nokia Flagship Stores and the Nokia USA website, the smartphone’s release on AT&T is definitely good news for lots of mobile users. And yes, the E71 is coming to AT&T, and, according to Boy Genius Report, it will be named Nokia E71x.

AT&T today added a full touchscreen phone in as many weeks through the LG Incite, it runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 and features a 240 x 400 pixels TFT touchscreen display (only a bit smaller: 3 inches, as opposed to the 3.2 inches of Samsung Eternity’s screen).

AT&T sells the LG Incite for $199.99, but only after a $100 mail-in rebate and the signing of a 2-yr contract agreement. Otherwise, the handset costs $499.99.

Sony Ericsson C905a handset on eBay, equipped with an 8.1-megapixel camera, reveals wireless provider AT&T may be considering adding the flagship handset to its line-up. The device in question features AT&T’s firmware loaded onto it, complete with the start-up screen and logo, though there are no AT&T logos anywhere on the outside of the device.

AT&T announced that it has added the Nokia 6650 to its ranks.Nokia 6650 will be available for purchase starting tomorrow (November 14) via AT&T’s stores. After a $50 mail-in rebate and with a 2-yr contract agreement, the clamshell will cost you only $69.99. The 6650 is a clamshell that runs Nokia’s S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2 and has quad-band GSM/EDGE and 850/1900 WCDMA for AT&T’s 3G network. Other features include a 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR with support for A2DP stereo, aGPS and a 3.5mm headset jack. The 6650 supports microSD cards up to 8GB.

Quickfire it’s official available. The PCD-made phone features a sliding touchscreen that reveals a full QWERTY keyboard to make text messaging and typing quicker, along with a 1.3-megapixel camera. The handset supports HSPA-based 3G data networks and can take advantage of AT&T’s Napster Mobile and eMusic Mobile download services. The Quickfire lets users read messages in a portrait or landscape orientation, without having to slide the device open.
