What makes the LG-SU100 different with other handset is that it has a unique feature designed by Franklin Covey based on their famous Franklin Planner.

LG to launch 125 handsets in 2009?

The crisis in the global economy is not slowing LG down,we already know that LG wants to launch about 10 smartphones in 2009 only. The UK alone will supposedly receive 25 of these new handsets which, if launched at a steady pace, would equate to a new handset every two weeks. Keep in mind this ambitious roadmap is on only paper and not written in stone. Nonetheless, it will be interesting to watch LG in 2009 to see if it can meet this lofty goal. Wonder what new handsets they plan on sending stateside in 2009…

LG’s Prada Phone II launches in Europe

I told you a few days ago about availability of LG Prada II,  today LG has officially launched second-generation Prada Phone (aka Prada II) in Europe.

The features of LG Prada II KF900 are the ones we already know, including a 400 x 240 pixels touchscreen display, a full QWERTY keyboard, a 5MP autofocus camera, Wi-Fi, TV-out and so on.  

We’re still awaiting network details, expect those in the coming days.

 AT&T launches the LG Incite smartphone

AT&T today added a full touchscreen phone in as many weeks through the LG Incite, it runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 and features a 240 x 400 pixels TFT touchscreen display (only a bit smaller: 3 inches, as opposed to the 3.2 inches of Samsung Eternity’s screen).

Available in the US exclusively from AT&T, the new WM handset from LG has a simple but quite unique design. It has only two hardware buttons on the front, the rest of them being arranged on the sides.

AT&T sells the LG Incite for $199.99, but only after a $100 mail-in rebate and the signing of a 2-yr contract agreement. Otherwise, the handset costs $499.99.

First announced in the Korea Electronics Show 2008, the LG SH470 had now made its official announced in Korea. It’s an elegant and sexy 10.9 mm-thick slider handset that might look flashy at first sight, but is actually a bit on the low-end when it comes to features.

The LG SH470, or “Edge” as it’s going to be officially called in Korea, boasts and LED touch pad between the 2.2-inch QVGA TFT LCD screen and keypad, making it almost a joy to use when navigating.It also features dual cameras with the main one being 2-megapixels strong.

LG released a new affordable clamshell

LG released a new affordable clamshell, the LG KP152. The handset officially appears only on the LG Brazil website, but it’s said it will be released in Europe too – in Russia for the beginning, starting this month.

Here are the main specs and capabilities of LG KP152:

TIM Italy release, this time they received the LG Tribe messenger phone. This phone is very stylish with fantastic colors and a beautifully laid out full QWERTY keyboard. Threaded messaging makes this phone perfect for those who message a lot.

This Lg has a 2.4-inch screen with multiple buttons on the face that require less need to slide out the keyboard for basic functions. The camera however is just your basic 2 megapixel phone camera, noting to big. This phone is geared towards “generation Web 2.0”.

For 149 Euros you will get the LG Tribe with a Windows Live Messenger service that is free for two months, after which will be 3 to 6 Euros a month for continued access. People who love to send text messages, send email and instant message from their phone a lot will love to get their hands on this beast.

 Bell to release the LG Reveal with “Shimmer Kit”

LG and Bell Canada have announced a new stylish phone called LG Reveal, which reminds on a make-up compact. The fashion clamshell for the modern woman sports a flowery purple and black design, while sporting such things as 2.4-inch screen, full QWERTY keyboard, 2 megapixel camera that can take both photos and videos, EV-DO support, Bluetooth, and speakerphone.

LG KC780 slider unveiled with 8MP camera

LG KC780

LG announced today the launch of its LG-KC780, a slim 8 megapixel camera phone with special features that make it ideal for shooting portraits. The LG-KC780 has about the same thickness as Samsung Pixon at around 13.9 mm, comes with a 2.4-inch display screen and a slider form factor phone body. A Schneider-Kreuznach certified lens is used with a maximum of 8 megapixel resolution and 1600 ISO.

The KC780 offers an image stabilizer, and the ability to take DVD-quality video. Users can also operate the camera over a Bluetooth connection with a computer to use as a web cam, and use Bluetooth to send and receive text messages through a computer as well. An integrated motion sensor also functions with games for the phone.

LG currently only has plans to release the device in Europe this November, with the CIS and Asia to follow thereafter. No plans have been revealed for a North American launch.
