Well, I think many of you out there feel that the color pink is not perfect for a phone. But, this is not so. For all the pink lovers, this color works out pretty nicely since you are entitled for types of unwanted crap along with this phone. The Nokia’s Illuvial Collection, for example, which has taken the 5530, 6303, and 6700 and has decided to dress up these phones in the hot shades of pink. T-Mobile USA and Motorola today announced the retail availability of the MOTO W233 Renew.The Renew, available for $9.99 with a two-year service agreement, is an affordable option for T-Mobile customers committed to making a difference and reducing their carbon footprint.

Toshiba has announced a new phone that promises to “revolutionise the mobile entertainment world”. The TG01 comes with other advanced features, including HSDPA connectivity, GPS, DivX support and a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset that runs at 1GHz. The OS is Windows Mobile 6.1, improved with Toshiba’s own Tosh 3D interface.

Nokia today announced the Nokia N79 Active, which ships with the wireless Polar Bluetooth WearLink heart rate belt from Polar, the leading brand in sports instruments and heart rate monitoring.The Nokia N79 Active maker also adds a social component with the ability to share the playlist from a run and to geotag photos along the way. The Active variant also gets a more exercise-friendly set of headphones and a 4GB microSD card to give the N79 better music handling out of the box. The 5-megapixel camera, 3G and Wi-Fi aren’t changed on the new model, which will cost only slightly more at 375 euros ($497) before carrier discounts when it goes on sale at an unspecified point in the near future.

A bog step for Motorola was made today: the American company has just announced two new phones, one of which is the full-touchscreen device previously known as Motorola Attila.

The A3100 is a touch-based replacement for the Ming device that has been available in Asian markets. It runs Windows Mobile Professional 6.1, but has a new user interface created by Motorola that allows users to interact with most features of the phone on the 2.8-inch display. It has quad-band GSM/EDGE as well as 850/1900/2100 tri-band HSDPA 7.2Mbps 3G. It also carriers stereo Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Other features include a 3 megapixel camera with autofocus and VGA secondary camera, support for 32GB microSD cards, and a-GPS.

MOTOSURF A3100 will be commercially available in “multiple regions” around the world (Latin America and Asia included). No pricing details yet, but those curious to see the smartphone live will be able to do so during CES 2009. 

The second new handset is MOTO W233 Renew.The bar-style phone has dual-band 850/1900 GSM/EDGE radios, is rated at nine hours of talk time, and uses CrystalTalk for good call quality. It can support microSD cards up to 2GB and has basic messaging features.MOTO W233 Renew will first hit T-Mobile USA, sometime during this quarter, for an affordable price.

I like green but not too much,the W233 “Renew” is made from a lot of renewable stuff. Both the packaging and the phone itself are made of materials designed to reduce impact on our lovely planet, a trend picking up a nice head of steam in the mobile biz these past couple years.
