Posted Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010 by John

HTC is now the smartphone brand everyone is talking about and its recent success has been attributed to the arrival of the Android OS from Google. People first talked about its Droid Incredible which is still selling like hot cakes from the VZW stores and then came the Evo 4G which will be made available by Sprint June 4 onwards. The next big thing bearing the HTC branding could be the recently leaked Aria which will run on Android 2.1 OS and will also feature the Sense UI.

HTC Hero Review and pictures

Posted Thursday, September 17th, 2009 by Mondo

A hero will rise and so has happened with the launched of HTC Hero. HTC has always worked hard to come out with smart phones that are mean machines and always stay in the frontline of market competition. With the launch of HTC Hero, HTC has come out with their latest and most advanced Android to date. Though the operating system looks somewhat familiar to iPhone’s OS, the bold and superior hardware talks about the state of the art gadgets that HTC is renowned for.Mobile reviews of any HTC smart phones are always positive and they talk about the QWERTY keypad that is a distinctive style of HTC, but this time they have come out with a iconoclastic look and breaking free from their traditional HTC smart phone appearance. No wonder HTC Hero is born and destined to become one of the best slim full touchscreen phones in today’s competitive mobile market.

Now that we have applauded the innovative look of HTC Hero, let me tell you that HTC Hero will hit the market shelves in white and brown shades. However, HTC has said that white HTC Hero will have a Teflon coating for keeping HTC Hero’s body dirt-free and that should also make it fingerprint-resistant. The brown HTC Hero might not have this added advantage, but both the HTC Hero will have a brushed aluminum display.Moving on further with this HTC Hero review, let me also tell you that the front side of the HTC Hero is dominated by the full-touchscreen display measuring 3.2 inches and that has 65K-color HVGA resolution that is standard with HTC phones. Moreover the sunlight legibility is not much of a concerned as HTC Hero screen looks pretty good even in daylight. The angled chin has certain hardware controls and a trackball that makes it stand out of the crowd of other smart phones available today in the market.Read more
