Lenovo’s OPhone O1 is a Android phone designed for China Mobile. The OPhone runs Lenovo’s own OMS (Open Mobile System), a customized Android that comes with a more attrative UI and visual effects. Powered by a 624MHz processor, the O1 has 128MB RAM, and 8GB or 16GB internal storage.

Two versions of OPhone will be available, the 3G version with TD-SCDMA support and a 5 Megapixel camera and the 2.75GB version (ET70) that supports EDGE and has a 3.2 Megapixel camera. Lenovo releases in China the new X1 mobile phone with a touchscreen display.The Lenovo X1 also supports GPS and offers a MicroSD slot for memory expansion. Overall dimensions closely match the iPhone, measuring 115 mm in length and 12.5 mm thick, while offering a slightly narrower width of 55 mm.The slide-style X1 features Lenovo’s Touch Dream UI. It supports Tri-band GSM EDGE networks. It is priced at 3280 Chinese Yuan.

The Android-powered “OPhone” is quite the sight to behold, and while the Lenovo logo may not look quite right to American eyes, we’re sure you could learn to love it in time.The touchscreen handset is now known to sport a five-megapixel camera with autofocus, flash and video-recording capabilities. While it’s not yet clear if or how much onboard memory is present, the handset will have a microSD memory card slot for expansion. The previously guessed at input method will consist of an English/Chinese virtual keyboard. Bluetooth 2.0 will be integrated as well.
