HTC Hero Android Smartphone

HTC officially announced the Hero that is the company’s third Android smartphone (the G3). Like the Magic (G2), the Hero is boosted by Qualcomm MSM7200A 528 MHz processor. The Hero has a 3.2-inch 320×480 touchscreen LCD display, a trackball with enter button, a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera and integrated GPS receiver. It supports Both Bluetooth 2.0+EDR/A2DP and WiFi 802.11b/g connectivity. The smartphone packs also G-sensor, microSD/SDHC card slot and digital compass.

HTC Hero’s media player supports MP3, AAC(AAC, AAC+, AAC-LC), AMR-NB, WAV, MIDI and WMA9 audio files and MPEG-4, H.263, H.264, WMV9 video formats.

Hero will be released in Europe in July, Asia in Summer and N. America later this year.

Sony Ericsson announced the new T715 slider mobile phone that will be available in Galaxy Silver and Rouge Pink. The slider features a 2.2-inch 240×320 LCD screen and a 3.2 Megapixel camera with 3.2x digital zoom, geotagging and video recording.

The T715 supports HSPA and quad-band GSM/EDGE networks and comes with built-in support for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. Google maps is also included. The slider has integrated media player and comes with Bluetooth stereo A2DP.

Other than 90MB internal memory, the T715 has a microSD card slot. It will be released in Q3.

Samsung officially announced the I7500, its first Android-based smartphone. The I7500 features a 3.2-inch 320×480 AMOLED touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash, 8GB internal storage, WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0. You can also expect integrated GPS receiver to be used with Google Maps.

Samsung I7500 supports tri-band HSDPA/HSUPA as well as quad-band GSM/EDGE networks. The phone supports playback of MPEG4, H.263, H.264, WMV as well as MP3, AAC, AAC+, e-AAC+, WMA, RA audio files. It supports microSDHC up to 32GB.

The I7500 runs Google’s Android OS and comes with Google services, including Google Search, Gmail, YouTube, Google Calendar, and Google Talk.

A few days ago, Samsung unveiled the Haptic wich will be available in two flavor: 4GB (SCH-W550 or SPH-W5500) and 16GB (SCH-W555).It comes with a 3.2-Inch LCD touch screen, DMB, e-dictionary, Bluetooth, 5Mpix camera… The UI had also been upgraded, and the users will be able to create their own vibration mode, and create more various screen design with 50 icons.The price will be between 480€ and 550€.
