Motorola Droid X Spotted Running a Customized Sapphire ROM

Posted Monday, August 30th, 2010 by MobileGeek

This seems a great day for the possessors of the Motorola Droid X from Verizon and there isn’t much explaining to do here as to why I feel so. That Blue Sapphire logo on the Motorola Droid X implies that the VZW locked handset can be rooted to run on Android 2.2, Sapphire AOSP 2.2 ROM.

Droid X-Running Custom Sapphire ROM

The root did happen, but apparently the problem is that the Droid X cannot be loaded with a custom ROM as Motorola has ensured a better level of security this time around.

For the moment then, we will just have to be content with this achievement hoping that the ‘magical’ guys to do this will soon get the instruction set and stable build ready at the earliest.

Blurry Motorola Droid II Image Leaked?

Posted Wednesday, June 9th, 2010 by John

The first edition of the Droid got mixed reactions across the world with a US specific version doing particularly well while the one received in the UK wasn’t a success. The next edition of the phone is eagerly awaited with more Android goodness and as gossip hounds prepare to talk about the specs, the first blurred image of the Droid successor has already surfaced on the web.

Droid II Leaked Image

The model snapped in particular is listed as Motorola A955 while in the filing documents it was spotted alongside the Xtreme which is known with other names such as the Shadow and the ‘X’ in different places. This clearly implies that the Droid II and the Droid Xtreme are well and truly different devices.

Is Nexus two Motorola’s Shadow with a sliding QWERTY Keyboard???

Some of the greatest inventions have been the modified version of a failed one or another successful one. The Mobile01 people have recently sent out two pictures recently which they named it as Motorola Shadow, Please don’t confuse this one with T-Mobile Shadow because both are different ones and not the same. This looks like a Deoid or a Milestone; this has a white colored key board and also a wrist strap. The most interesting things are that this could be the next flagship device of Google. The lovingly so called Nexus two.  The main question that can arise is that is this all feasible? Why not, all those things which are products now are once questioned the same.

The best way to complement the Nexus one is that with a physically present QWERTY keyboard. The best company in this whole world who can create such a device in the increased platform and super speed is Android 2.0. This company has got a CEO who is interested to signify the support for a competitor’s product even if it’s a product launch function. The best thing that can come is the one which has the combined features of many products, that’s what people want an All in One product at the cost of one product.

Here is another wonderful and new concept. That is the Droid Phone Holder. Let me introduce you to the Droid Phone Holder and the Multimedia Station. This is priced at $30 a piece. Well, not that expensive. But this is overpriced when compared to our own homebrew dual-purpose solution.

This is a great device to hold your Droid. Also, this acts as the Multimedia Station. I don’t have much information about this but I am sure that this will be a great product. For any people, around the world, this surely not a big price and you can grab your own Droid Phone Holder.
