Nokia 7230 passes the FCC with US 3G

Nokia 7230 has just been approved by the FCC, which blessed the phone’s use on US 3G bands (850 / 1900 MHz).

The 7230 is a fancy-looking slider with decent features, including: 2.4 inch QVGA display, Bluetooth 2.1, 3.5mm headset jack, Nokia Maps, stereo FM radio, 3.2MP camera and MicroSD card support. There’s no GPS and neither Wi-Fi, in case you’re wondering.

Nokia 6700 slide and Nokia 7230 revealed

Nokia today made official two new phones that should be available for purchase in the first quarter of 2010: Nokia 6700 slide and Nokia 7230.

The first one, Nokia 6700 slide features a 2.2 inch QVGA display, Symbian UI, HSDPA and HSUPA connectivity, Bluetooth 2.1, 5MP autofocus camera, and a 2GB MicroSD card in the box.Will be available in pink, red, purple petrol blue, lime and aluminum for 239$.

The second one, Nokia 7230 will be available in two colors (hot pink and graphite), for only $150.And include a 2.4 inch QVGA display, 3G, 3.2MP camera and a 2GB memory card.
